Hot Toddy

In keeping with the Scottish theme of our newsletter this month we thought it would be fitting to feature the well know cocktail the Hot Toddy as our cocktail of the month. This warming concoction went down a treat with the guests at our recent event for the opening night of Oliver. So why not warm up these cold winter nights with a Hot Toddy or two.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 fluid oz gin, rum or whisky
1 sugar lump
juice of half a lemon
2 cloves
small stick of cinnamon

Method:

Put all the ingredients into a heatproof mug and fill with boiling water. If preferred, serve in a strong tumbler when the drink has cooled a little (so as not to break the glass).
