Apple Relish Recipe

This tangy side is a perfect make-ahead candidate; you can store it in the refrigerator for up to three days before serving.

Yield is around 16 servings (serving size: 3 tablespoons)

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups chopped and peeled Bramley apples (about 1/2 pound)
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup white grape juice
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
(12-ounce) package fresh cranberries

Preparation

Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer until thick (about 15 minutes), stirring occasionally. Cool completely.
