How Do You Recharge Your Batteries?

This event held at one of Mackintosh’s great London venues, The Getty Image Gallery, showcased the winner as well as the runners-up of the Duracell “How Do You Recharge Your Batteries?” photography competition. The gallery was filled with photographers, celebrities, including Huggy Ragnarsson, former model turned famous photographer as well as many more. Of course this evening wasn’t about the people attending, but the photographs. Not only were the photographs something to remember, but Mackintosh’s catering was top quality as usual. Some of the savoury canapes included our ever famous skewered atlantic prawns wrapped with mange tout marinated with lime, chilli coriander & lemon grass, herbed goat cheese rolled in filo pastry, finished with green tomato confit and rock chive garnish, and a dessert that went down a treat - gooseberry Eton mess, crème patisserie with honeycomb crumble. With the Champagne and wines flowing, as well as Mackintosh’s renowned Apple & Ginger Mojito virgin cocktail the night was a huge success.
