Cocktails
Requires: 1 bottle fruity red wine, 1 cup brandy, 1/2 cup triple sec, 2 mangos, cubed, 1 crisp apple, small dice, 1 apricot, peeled and diced, 1 large orange, halved and sliced, 1 cup boiling water, 1 white tea bag (not green tea but white), 2 teaspoons sugar
Requires: 1oz lime juice, 6 ice cubes, 4 strawberries, sliced, 2 tsp sugar
Requires: 2 shots of Pimms, Lemonade, Strawberries, Chopped fresh lime, Chopped fresh cucumber, Chopped lemon, Chopped fresh orange
Requires: sugar cube, 2-3 dashes Angostura bitters, Champagne, 1 oz brandy, orange slice for garnish
Requires: Rum, One shot Cointreau, Two teaspoons runny honey, Juice of one lemon, Juice of half an orange
Requires: 1 oz light rum, 1/2 oz lime juice, 1/2 oz orange curacao, 1/2 oz orgeat syrup, 1 oz dark rum, maraschino cherry for garnish
Requires: 2 oz TY KU liqueur, 1 oz pomegranate juice, 2 oz Sence rose nectar, lime wedge for garnish
In keeping with the Scottish theme of our newsletter this month we thought it would be fitting to feature the well know cocktail the Hot Toddy as our cocktail of the month. This warming concoction went down a treat with the guests at our recent event for the opening night of Oliver. So why not warm up these cold winter nights with a Hot Toddy or two.
Requires: 1 1/2 3- to 4-inch-long cinnamon sticks, 2 whole nutmegs, 1 1/2 tablespoons whole allspice berries,
1/3 cup sugar, 2 cups Simple Syrup, 2 1/4 cups Rum, 1 1/4 cups fresh lemon juice, 1 1/4 cups fresh orange juice, 1 teaspoon Fee Brothers Peach Bitters, 1 ice block - or enough cubed ice to chill punch, Lemon and orange slices
Requires: Assortment of berries, such as blackberries, raspberries, blueberries (or whatever is available), A dash of kirsch, cherry liqueur or blackcurrant liqueur, Sparkling wine
